چکیده مقاله:

Since Distributed Generations (DGs) have the potential to solve power loss reduction and improve system dependability, their incorporation into power distribution networks has received a lot of attention. This study is founded on the utilization of an algorithm that anticipates the best reconfiguration plan, location and capacity for a DG-based power distribution network. Since optimal allocation and network reconfiguration are multi-objective and multi constrained problems, the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) is used as an effective optimization technique. The WOA simulates the social behavior of humpback whales to efficiently explore the solution space and converge to the global optimum. The whale algorithm's objective function includes all the goals and restraints necessary for the reconfiguration procedure and optimal location and size of DG. In this paper, the forward-backward load flow approach is employed due to its simplicity in implement ation and fast convergenceconvergence. The proposed technique is validated through IEEE ۳۳-bus standard test system. The obtained solutions exhibit substantial power loss reduction, improved voltage profiles, and effective utilization of DG at the identified optimal location. Moreover, the proposed methodology exhibits robustness, scalability, and computational efficiency, making it a promising solution for practical applications.
